I work at RE/MAX World Headquarters (corporate office) and, with that in mind, could have gone with a number of RE/MAX agents/brokers. My team + other people in different departments HIGHLY recommended I reach out to Traci. I had talked to a few people who had either purchased a home working with Traci or sold their home working with her. I knew, being in a hot market, it was crucial to find someone who was extremely knowledgeable of the area and market but I also liked the idea that she worked with a team who would be able to help if Traci was unavailable. When my boyfriend and I met with Traci for the first time, I felt like I was meeting with an old friend. She is very easy to talk to, makes you feel comfortable and listens to your needs. We felt great working with her from day one. Honestly, we would not be in the situation we are in today if it weren't for Traci. The house we found that was PERFECT for us, also seemed to be perfect for a lot of other people too. When we made our offer (24 hours after the house went on the market) there were already at least 2 very competitive offers, $15-20K above asking price, with an inspection objection waved and lots of other various things that were appealing to the seller. First off, the fact that Traci was able to get the seller's agent to disclose details about offers that were on the table, was very impressive to me. I think Traci has a way with people to get them to open up to her. She is very trustworthy and so sweet, just extremely likable. Traci knew exactly what type of offer we needed to make, what types of actions we needed to take and when we needed to take them. When we made our offer, it was a little bit above what we wanted to spend (but I think it was also due to lack of knowledge of the market on our end) and, we were able to put some clauses in our offer that protected us but also looked very appealing to the seller. Had Traci not worked with us to take action so quickly and put an offer that we truly felt comfortable and confident in, we would not have been selected by the seller. Once under contract, Traci set us up with the greatest inspector. He was extremely thorough and was able to get out to inspect the house just days after we went under contract. We could not have been happier with how Traci handled all processes, every step of the way. She kept us informed, worked with us to ensure we were comfortable with our inspection objection but that we were also not being nit-picky, and we all walked away feeling really good about how things went. Traci told us from day one that she works in a team environment and, although she would try her best to make herself accessible when we need her, if she wasn't available she would ensure someone on her team was. We completely understood the craziness of the industry and figured Traci probably had an insane schedule, so we were totally fine working with her team too. But Traci ended up being available for us every step of the way. We had a lot of parties involved in our purchase, as my father was co-signing the mortgage with me. My parents live in Upstate New York, so Traci had not only me and my boyfriend, but both of my parents contacting her pretty much all day, every day, from when we found the house 'til we closed. She was always available via text, email, phone, everywhere. It was very important to me that my parents felt comfortable with who we were working with because they were not there to see the house and they wanted to make sure my boyfriend and I were in good hands. They couldn't have been happier with Traci's performance through the process. We truly appreciate all of the time and effort Traci put in to ensure everything went smoothly for us. It felt great knowing she had our best interest in mind throughout the whole process. Her knowledge, sense of urgency and customer service did not go unnoticed. She made an experience that could be extremely scary (especially for first time home buyers) an extremely pleasant one.
